Frommer's Day by Day - Short on Time, Big on Ideas
May sees the launch of four new titles in the Frommer’s Day by Day series, giving smart, up-to-date advice for the time-poor traveller wanting to get the most out of a city break. The introduction of Lisbon Day by Day, Brussels and Bruges Day by Day, Seville Day by Day and Dublin Day by Day expands the collection to take in some of the world’s most popular and exciting city break destinations.
Organising time is what the Frommer’s Day by Day guides are all about. By giving you recommendations in one, two and three day itineraries, the tours present the traveller with the most important, impressive, and unmissable places of interest on a timetable that suits. Suggestions for walking tours organised by neighbourhood and special interest itineraries such as family-friendly, gastronomy, architecture and art are invaluable tools on a short break. The guides also include top recommendations for shopping, outdoor pursuits, nightlife, culture and accommodation whilst also providing hundreds of images to help readers make the most of their trip. Whether you want the very best of Dublin nightlife, or a tapas tour of Seville, the Frommer’s Day by Day series has a wide range of bespoke ideas to suit the modern traveller.
As well as detailed itineraries, the guidebooks include a chapter on advice and preparation before travel such as dates of important festivals and a brief history outlining the story of the city in a nutshell. A handy translation guide is there to help readers out in tricky situations, such as dealing with lost luggage or ordering food, and each guide includes a handy foldout full-sized map.
