About the authors
Stephen Pincock is the Science correspondent for the Financial Times and the Sydney Morning Herald. Each week he writes a humorous and thought-provoking science piece in the FT magazine.

Mark Frary is a technology and science writer and his work has appeared in The Times and a range of other newspapers, magazines and online publications. Before becoming a writer, Mark trained as an astrophysicist at the CERN nuclear physics laboratory in Geneva.
