About the author
Dr Adam Hardy has for many years been exploring Indian temple architecture, the subject of his doctoral research and many subsequent publications. An architect, he has been design consultant to a number of new temple projects. Currently Senior Lecturer at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University, he is convenor of PRASADA, a group devoted to the integration of research with creative practice in the architecture and visual arts of South Asia and its diaspora. He has supervised and is currently supervising numerous PhD students in the field of Indian architecture. He edits the internationally refereed journal, South Asian Studies.
